BAYC announced that the trial of Jimmy the Monkey Starts Tomorrow - here's what we know so far
In classic BAYC fashion, Bored Ape Yacht Club kicked off a clue-filled thread this afternoon about the next phase of the swamp club for apes - the trial of Jimmy the Monkey. If you don't know who Jimmy the Monkey is - he was first spotted in the BAYC 2.0 roadmap, right about here:
The first thing I saw was this tweet, which I assumed was all they were going to share:
But then I spotted that thread emoji and got excited, and thread they did. You can read the full thread yourself by click the image above or clicking here, but I put together a quick summary below:
- everything kicks off tomorrow (12/21) with a short film giving us a look into the evolution of BAYC lore
- we're supposed to pay close attention to the narrative as that apparently will benefit us later down the road
- in late January a game will be released that will test our skills and apparently how carefully we paid attention to everything revealed tomorrow forward
- there are four tiers, the top being for BAYC owners with a paired BAKC, below is the matrix:
